Eligibility and permitted use
Use of TerenVGuard is limited to professional users and organisations able to enter into binding contracts under applicable law. Accounts must be used in a lawful manner and solely for the purposes described in these terms and the service documentation.
Users must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in their jurisdiction to enter into a contract. Organisations may register representatives who meet age and authority requirements.
Users must not use the service for illegal activities, harassment, dissemination of malicious code, unauthorised access to systems, or other conduct that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
Access to the platform may be restricted in certain jurisdictions due to local law or export control restrictions. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Account administration
Account holders are responsible for provisioning, managing, and monitoring user access to their organisation's account and for compliance with these terms by their users.
Account information must be accurate and up to date. Providing false or misleading information is a breach of these terms and may result in account suspension.
Account owners must implement appropriate security measures for credentials and access controls, including unique passwords and role-based permissions. Multi-factor authentication is recommended where available.
Accounts are non-transferable without prior written consent from TerenVGuard. Any attempt to transfer an account without consent may result in termination.
If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify TerenVGuard immediately at [email protected] and follow recommended steps to secure the account. Prompt reporting assists in limiting potential impact.
TerenVGuard may suspend access to the service if there is a security incident, suspected misuse, non-payment, or where required by law. Notification will be provided when feasible.
Service description
TerenVGuard provides an online platform designed to deliver IT security awareness training, assessments, and analytics to professionals and organisations. Service features, supported integrations, and available modules are described in the platform documentation.
We may introduce changes to service features, user interface, pricing models, or integrations. Where changes materially affect ongoing contractual obligations, notice will be provided to account administrators in advance when practicable.
TerenVGuard strives to maintain high availability but does not promise uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows and occasional downtime for upgrades or security patches may occur. We monitor system performance and take corrective actions as needed.
User rules and acceptable conduct
Users must follow conduct rules designed to protect platform integrity, data privacy, and the rights of others. Violations may lead to warnings, content removal, suspension, or termination.
- Do not attempt to circumvent security controls or access accounts without authorization.
- Do not upload malware, exploit code, or content intended to disrupt services.
- Respect intellectual property rights and do not share unlicensed third-party content.
- Do not use the platform for unlawful data scraping or automated harvesting of personal data.
- Provide truthful information when communicating with support or during incident contribute.
- Comply with export controls and do not transmit restricted technical data to prohibited jurisdictions.

User content
Users may upload or submit content such as training materials, assessments, and commentary. Responsibility for such content rests with the user who submitted it.
Users retain ownership of their user-submitted content, subject to any third-party rights. By submitting content, users represent they have rights to do so and that the content does not violate applicable law.
By uploading content to the platform, users grant TerenVGuard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the service and for internal analytics.
Users are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and appropriateness of content they upload. TerenVGuard may remove or restrict access to content that violates these terms or applicable law.
Content removal requests should be submitted with sufficient detail to identify the material. We will review requests and act in accordance with applicable law and our policies.
Intellectual property
TerenVGuard and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in platform software, documentation, branding, and proprietary tools. Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except where expressly permitted.
- Do not reproduce TerenVGuard activity, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
- Do not attempt to decompile or reverse engineer platform software.
- Do not remove or alter proprietary notices or watermarks on platform materials.
Paid services and billing
Certain features and modules of TerenVGuard are provided as paid services. Paid service terms include pricing, billing cycles, and subscription conditions described at purchase and in invoices.
Pricing information is published on the platform or provided in quotations. Prices are subject to applicable taxes and may change with prior notice in accordance with these terms.
Payments are due according to the billing schedule agreed at purchase. Accepted payment methods are detailed during checkout. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with cancellation procedures. Account administrators can manage subscription settings via the platform dashboard.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Requests for refunds should be submitted to [email protected] with relevant account and invoice information. Refund decisions consider usage, duration since purchase, and any contractual commitments.
Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal charges. Cancellation may lead to loss of access to paid features at the end of the current billing period.
Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies associated with their use of paid services unless otherwise stated. Where required, TerenVGuard will collect taxes in accordance with local law.
We may adjust pricing for future billing periods. Where a price increase materially affects an existing subscription, advance notice will be provided to account administrators.
In the event of non-payment, TerenVGuard may suspend access to paid services and pursue collection. Outstanding fees remain due and payable despite suspension.
Disclaimer
Information and training provided by TerenVGuard are intended for educational and risk-reduction purposes and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice. Users should consult appropriate specialists for advice tailored to their specific circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TerenVGuard's liability for damages arising from the use of the platform is limited. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of benefits, or loss of data resulting from platform use, except as required by applicable law.
Third-party services
The platform may integrate with third-party services or APIs. Use of such services is subject to separate terms and privacy policies. TerenVGuard is not responsible for third-party performance, availability, or compliance.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship in accordance with contract terms and any applicable notice periods. TerenVGuard may also terminate access immediately for serious breaches, unlawful use, or security concerns.
On termination, access to the platform is revoked, and retained data will be handled according to the data retention and deletion provisions in the privacy policy and any contractual agreements. Account administrators should export required data prior to termination where possible.
Privacy and data protection
TerenVGuard processes personal data as described in the privacy policy. Data controllers and processors among customers and TerenVGuard have distinct responsibilities; customers are responsible for their users' data uploaded to the platform.
Communications and notices
Notices required under these terms may be delivered via email, platform messaging, or postal mail to the contact information on file. Timeframes for notice periods are counted from the date of delivery.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators in advance when practicable. Continued use of the platform after changes constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply to an individual user.
Dispute resolution
Parties should seek to resolve disputes through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or the competent courts as specified in the applicable contract. Users may have additional statutory rights that are not affected by these terms.
